Rondevlei Wild is a small business with a big heart and a deep love for nature.
Our story began in 2011 when Elton and his father, Andrew, started keeping beehives as a hobby. Their fascination with these industrious little creatures soon grew into a shared passion, inspiring the creation of Rondevlei Wild.
Elton’s journey into the world of preserves began with his signature Bitter Sweet Orange Marmalade. His creativity and dedication quickly transformed a humble hobby into a thriving business.
Our honey reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and sustainability. What started with hives in the Rondevlei Bird Sanctuary Nature Reserve has expanded to diverse sites across Cape Town, including the Philippi Farmlands, Constantia, and several residential Flora Nurseries.
